as she began to fall asleep
she had a terrible dream
someone grabbed her from the back
suffocated. scared.
oh mother how she screamed for you was precious
a figure came into the room and she thought it was you
it calm her down giving her a kiss on the forehead
her breath grew deeper and her weight heavier
it wasn't you mother
shocked. wide awake.
she ran into your room
thank god you still breathing
it was because she never said she love you
she never said goodbye...
